Terms of Service

Effective October 28, 2026

These terms govern your use of VidAgent, including its Mac app, website and AI connections. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Contact hello@vidagent.app with questions.

Your account

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under the age of majority, use VidAgent with a parent or guardian's permission. Keep your account credentials secure and use only accounts and content you are authorized to access.

Your content and permission to edit

You retain your rights in the videos, photos, recordings, text and other content you provide. You grant VidAgent permission to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to provide the features you request, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having permission to use your content, including music, likenesses and third-party assets, and for complying with applicable licenses.

AI suggestions and generated content may be inaccurate or unsuitable. Review the edits, captions, factual claims and permissions before using or sharing a finished video. VidAgent does not guarantee that generated content is unique or that third-party rights do not apply.

Using the app and connections

VidAgent grants you a limited, nonexclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose under these terms. Your original footage and finished renders are stored on your device. The app must be running and connected for tools that access footage or render a video. On Mac, keep its window on screen for graphics rendering. Network outages, device availability and system limits can interrupt work; keep your own backups.

Connecting an AI service permits it to access project information and perform requested editing actions through VidAgent. You can disconnect it in the app. The AI service's own terms also apply. The connection does not provide that service's account or subscription.

Purchases and subscriptions

When paid features are offered, their price, billing interval, included usage and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew according to the terms accepted at checkout unless cancelled. Manage a website subscription through VidAgent's account billing controls; manage an Apple subscription through your Apple account. AI credit included with a VidAgent purchase does not expire. Credit from an AI subscription bought before that expires at the end of its billing period and does not roll over.

Purchases take place outside the AI connector. Connecting an existing paid account lets you use the features included in that account; the connector does not sell subscriptions or upgrades. Deleting the app or your VidAgent account does not by itself cancel an Apple subscription.

Refunds and cancellations

Website purchases are eligible for a full refund when you request it within 14 days of payment. This includes the one-time VidAgent app purchase and VidAgent AI subscription payments. Email hello@vidagent.app with the email address used for the purchase and your receipt or order details.

A full refund of the app purchase removes the paid app entitlement and the AI credit that came with it. A full refund of a VidAgent AI subscription payment removes paid AI access for that billing period. To stop future subscription charges, cancel through the billing controls in your VidAgent account. Purchases made through Apple follow Apple's refund process. This policy does not limit any refund or cancellation rights you have under applicable law.

Acceptable use

Do not use VidAgent to violate the law, infringe others' rights, distribute harmful or abusive content, access another person's data without permission, bypass access controls or usage limits, or disrupt the service. We may restrict access to address abuse, security threats or legal requirements. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details or other secrets as project content or notes.

Availability, changes and ending use

Features may change and the service may be temporarily unavailable. You may stop using VidAgent, disconnect AI services and delete your account through the app. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date; material changes will be identified before they apply to continued use.
